Are your plans engineered?

Yes, all Design Loft Inc. plans have been engineered to the codes and conditions required at the time they were designed. We suggest to our clients to have a local engineer or architect review them for your area and adjust as necessary. If you are building in Utah, we can provide complete engineering services including updating any engineering information as required by your local building official. Contact us for more information.

Do you make changes to your plans?

Yes we can revise plans to meet your specific needs. See our modifications page.

What if I cannot find a plan I like?

Design Loft Inc. has been designing custom home plans for over 40 years. Please see our Custom Design page for more information.

May we use the same plan for multiple projects?

We license Design Loft Inc. plans for single use (one building). If you are interested in reusing a Design Loft plan, please call us for multiple use pricing.

May we buy extra sets of plans?

We provde 6 sets of plans. You may purchase additional sets of plans for $30 per set (plus shipping) within 30 days of your order.

What is a rambler, Two Story, Multi Level, etc.?

Are your plans designed with 2x4 or 2x6 exterior walls?

Most Design Loft Inc. plans are designed with 2x6 exterior walls. However we do have some homes with 2x4 exterior walls. Please contact us to determine which type was used in the plan you are interested in. We can modify a plan if you are interested in this type of change, see our modifications page. Some contractors are able to make this adjustment during the construction of the home.
